My Male Pitbull Year 1/2 Old

I live in a hotel in FL, and i dont have a backyard to frequently let my dog bubba out, and i raised him in a kennel to almost a year old, then i had tile done in my room after the room was done i got rid of the kennel, so accidents on the tile floor are ok at night, i understand i cant take him out within the 8 hours im sleeping, but he routinely goes outside every 2 hours, then all of a sudden i come home from work, which is where i live.  and theres pee on the bed. so i told him he was bad, talked down to him trying to hurt his feelings and he lays in his bed. pouting it looks like. but this has happened 3 times in the past week, after the first time it happened i took away his toys, his bone and gave him a towel to sleep on instead of a fleece blanket. after the second time it happened, i deprived him of attention, from anybody that came over. gave him 1 bowl of food instead of 2, then it happened again tonight. and i dont know what to do. please help!

Hello David,

Peeing on the bed is a sign of discontent.  He is telling you that he needs more time with you.  I suggest you take Bubba for a nice walk in the morning, this allows dogs to expel energy and leave them more content when left alone.  When you return from work, talk him out to potty and let him run on a long rope or lead.  Again walking him is best, but sometimes not convenient for you.  Make some time.  

Never take food and drink away as punishment, dogs don't understand that, they think in the "now". You need to remove energy not stuff.

A bone or something to chew on will allow them to use energy too. Try that and see how it works.
