Question
I have been treating my dog for ear mites for 3 days. I know I've got to keep this up for a month. My question is after I treat him should I keep cleaning his ears? If so every day or once a week?
Helen

Answer
Helen-

After his treatment is finished, I would continue to clean his ears once a week as part of his normal grooming schedule. If he is prone to bad ear infections or mites or is a breed that has a close heavy hanging ear (Golden retriever, cocker spaniel, basset hound, bloodhound etc) you should expect to do it twice or more a week just to keep it clean!

I hope he feels better!
