Housebroken??

My 1 1/2 year old Shih Chon is housebroken but every now and then he will pee in the house - right in front of us - for not reason at all. He always lets us know when he has to potty - but sometimes he will just pee on a blanket or on the carpet out the bluw.

There are two things that come to mind..this may be just a behavioral problem in which case, you need to hire a behaviorist to come into your home and help you, but also...is the dog neutered? It could be marking. I would have a free evaluation done by a trainer and get their opinion since i can not see the dog on here,
