puppy born without a tail

Hi,
I have had a stray dog show up at my house that was going to have babies. She has no tail. I could not catch her but I just made sure she had good food to eat and left my shed door open and let her have her babies in there. she had five babies and one was born with just a tuff of hair where a tail should be. they are now 10 weeks old and I am getting ready to put a add in the paper to give the puppies away but have no idea what kind of dog the mom is even close to being. Her face looks like a pug but she has a body like a beagle and no tail. Could you let me know what kind of dogs are born without a tail.

Corgies,schperkies,old English sheepdogs and Australian shepherds are all born without tail-also dogs that have those breeds mixed into them,but sometimes dogs aren't related to any of those breeds can be born without tails too due to a genetic defect
