Hair color change

Question

Hair
Susan, I have a Yorkie that is 5 and a half years old. She just had surgery in September to close a liver shunt. I have recently noticed that her hair is growing in as an orange/brown color that is much different to her tan legs, head and stomach areas. I am attaching a photo. I mention her surgery because it seems close in timing that I have noticed the change. And the area they shaved for the IV has grown in completely orange. Do you know of any reasons that a dogs hair would start to grow in at a much different color?

Answer
Hello Camille,

I do know that surgery will cause this to happen, why? I am not sure.  I do know that it will eventually change back to the proper color.  Strange thing though, it may have something to due with the meds that were put into your dogs system.  I would like to suggest you put your Yorkie on NuVet Plus to help boost the immune system.  Go to my website to read more about it.  If you decide to try it you will need my order code 42299.

Sincerely,
Susan Potts
