4 yr old behavior change

My boyfriend's Rotti has started getting into his things (2 so far) when he's away from home. According to him she's just started doing this.  I haven't met her yet and he and I talk on the phone several times a day and late into the night. He hasn't changed her schedule, could it be the amount of time we are on the phone causing her to act out?

Something, I can't say what may be upsetting your boyfriend's dog.

A very simple way of fixing this behavioral problem would be for him to spend a little extra time with his dog, and to give her an extra leashed walk or a good run each day. A tired dog isn't looking for things to do when left alone!
