Papillon Ears

Our, very lovable, Jaxson will be 1 year in approximatly a week.  We have given him cottage cheese every evening to help with his ears.  One ear is up and the other is droopy.   The droopy ear does stand oup once in awhile.  Is there anything we can do to assure that this ear will come up and stay or is this something that is just never going to happen?

I'm sure that Jaxson is just the most adorable pup ever!

I see this problem alot with Yorkies and our fix for it is to clip the hair off the ear, as it creates alot of weight. BUT, with Papillon's, their ears are not supposed to be tipped, although since he is so young the cartilage may be to weak to support all that hair. You could try this trick to see if it helps.

Jaxson may just be one of those cuties with one floppy ear :)
