Chihuahua urine color

My Chi urinates in a lot of places. I noticed his urine is amber color, not red, but certainly amber. Is this normal, and what color should it be? He is 4 years old.

Take him to the vet to get a urine test.  He could have an infection, which could be causing him to urinate in a lot of places (I assume places he's not supposed to).  A dog's urine should be the same color as yours -- pale yellow if he's drinking a lot, a darker yellow if he's not drinking enough, but never reddish.
