Thank you for writing to me about a Great Dane's lifespan. Typically a Great Dane can live from 5-8 years. I knew a beautiful Harlequin that lived to 10 years but she was fed organic food and had extensive bloodwork done with fine tuning of her chemistry with a holistic vet every 6 months.

It is important if buying from a breeder to choose one that focuses on health rather than appearance.

Please do not buy from a pet shop because those are the puppies that typcially come with health issues.

Think about rescuing from a Great Dane rescue group and saving a life.
