puppy born with three toes?

hello,
i purchased a yorkshire terrier akc registered for 500 dollars
took her to the vet had her checked out and shots
vet said she looked great
its been 2 weeks now and i noticed she is missing a toe on her rear foot we were planning on breeding her with our male
is this genetic? could her puppies be born the same?
can a dog even be akc registered with a missing toe?

Yes, this is a genetic defect!
Although you paid $500. I would not consider that price a Full breeding quality dog.Most quality Yorkies sell upwards of $1,500.
I would not breed her, because this will effect your offspring.
