Help with Training a dog

Hi at what age should I start training my border collie with basic commands such as sit, stand up, bark, be quiet, etc?

Hello Carlos, You can start as early as 4 months old.  Just keep it light and fun!  Reward your puppy with praise keeping in mind the best reward for your puppy is to please you.  You do not always need treats for reward.  Although this is an option.  Do not lose patience with your puppy and always end on a good note not when he fails but when he does it right.  You should spend a minimum of 30 min. a day with your puppy to reinforce things.  Usually joining a group training session will also help to socialize your puppy.  Good luck, Cindy lou :)
