Question
My girl, Amber, has been walking a little funny. Her back legs seem to be offset from the front. It doesn't seem to hurt her in any way. She has no pain. She does do a lot of jumping fences but hasn't hurt herself at all. I was wondering if there is illnesses genetic or otherwise that would explain the offset walk. I couldn't find anything with a search.

Answer
Hi Donna,

I don't know why you think your dog isn't in pain. The fact she's walking oddly, is your proof that she IS in pain.
Dog's don't lie.

It might be hip dysplasia, or it could be something else. Anything I could tell you would be nothing more than guesswork, and your dog deserves better than that.

Your first course of action should be to have your dog examined by your vet, and don't allow your dog to run and jump until she's been examined.

Best of luck,
Patti
