Blacky is not eating as he used to

My dog Blacky is not eating as he used to.What kind of tonic or medication do you reccommend

Dear Shawna-kay,

Thank you for writing to me about Blacky.  When a dog stops eating that means there is something medically wrong.  Healthy dogs eat.  Unhealthy dogs stop eating.  You absolutely must bring him to a vet to see what's wrong.  Your dog depends on you to take care of him.  He can't bring himself to the vet.  That's up to you.  Please do what's right for him.
