Too old to train?

I have two minpins: a female 9 years old, and a male 8 years old.They have never been obediance trained. Are they too old? I have a new puppy coming and would like all of them to be trained.

Hi, Jeanne! They are absolutely NOT too old to be trained. Granted, it may take longer for them to learn than the new puppy, but that's a given for even people - the young learn quicker than the old. And you never know, they may just be geniuses and pick everything up right away!

You shouldn't have any problems getting them trained, though.
