ok so i have a choc.lab and qwe just noticed that there were blood spots on the ground does that mean she is heat? also my dog was recently in a dog kennel fro 4 days, does being around other dog bring her into heat? last but not least, how often do female dog go into heat? once a month, every tow months. I dont know can you help me some how with this??? please.. my husband is grossed out.lol...

Yes she is in heat but being around other dogs has no effect

They go into heat every six months,but to avoid this the best thing to do is to get her spayed as soon as she is done,as it is messy-also you don't want an unplanned litter,also unspayed females can get a number of health problems

So if you don't want anymore messy heats,call the vet and book her in to get spayed-but wait until she is done as vets will charge more if they are in heat
