Tinkerbell Upest Stomach?

Question
Hi my name is Heather and I have a 3 month old Chihuahua who is maybe 3 lbs. We bought her a Zinggies chew bone made by the company Kong yesterday and she ate the whole thing. It says in big print made for puppies and thats why we picked it up. We gave it to her about 10:00 PM last night and tonight she has been vomiting. Not very much and not very often but kind of like an upset stomach would do to us. So I am curious to know if maybe it was the chew bone we bought her because tonight I looked and it and it said in very little print not recommended for puppies under 6 lbs. Can you please tell me if that could have caused her upset stomach and tell me what I can do to help her out?

Answer
Hi Heather!
Yes, that is more than likely what has caused her upset stomach. I don't think you should give her anything, just let her get rid of what is in her stomach that is upsetting it.  Once her stomach is rid of it, she should be ok.  If she does not eat or drink, or otherwise acts sick, then you may need to take her to a Vet to make sure there isn't a blockage caused by the chew bone.  If she eats and drinks ok, then I wouldn't worry about it, just don't give her those bones anymore.

God Bless,
Becky
