Bloodhound wont walk on leash

We got ms sue wrinkles from a kennel sue will walk with us and follow us but as soon as we put a leash on will no longer follow.  She seems to be scared of almost everything may it is just her new setting or age "8 months old" I have to bring Sue to the vet in 3 days and want her to walk on a leash.  Thanks so much

This works great with 8 WEEK olds.

If getting out in front and coaxing doesn't get a puppy moving, try dropping behind it and running by in baby steps calling ''Go, go, go!'' In a happy, excited voice.

I have never tried it with an 8 month old.  It was written for those with young puppies.  I have used it with a number of them, and it works great with them.  

Another thing is a drag line, a short leash without a handle.  You can buy them, but a cheap leash with the handle cut off would work just as well.  Just put it on the dog and let it run around the house to get used to it.  Do keep a close eye on it.  I have not used a drag line.  I find the baby step thing gets a 7-8 week old moving and never needed it.
