dog teeth cleaning

I'm going to get my dog's teeth cleaned.   Is this something I have to do for him?  My vet recommended it.  The suggested also that I pay a fee to have him monitored, liver & kidneys as part of this service.  I'm just wondering what is usual procedure for dog teeth cleaning.  Thank you

Honestly I dont know, I've never had to have my dog's teeth cleaned before. What you can do though is go to pets, and there is a vet page and they'd not only be happy to answer your question, but they'd know exactly what to tell you. I am sorry I couldn't help you, but I do hope you find the answers your looknig for.
