Boxer with head shake

My 12month old male boxer has just recently started to shake his head. It's a very slight shake which comes and goes and lasts anything from 10secs to 30secs onwards. There is no pattern and can have no shakes at all somedays. He is feeding fine and playing fine and is a happy go loving puppy but i'm obviously concerned as i love him very much. Any sugestions? Hi Helen,

Thank you for writing to me about your boxer puppy.  Although this is not a complete list, there are several things that could be going on with your dog:

1- Inner ear infection
2- Hyperglycemia
3- Petite Mal Seizures - Most Likely

ETC.

It's crucial that you take your dog to your vet for a full blood workup and exam.  This is the only way to tell what is going on.
