dog not walking

Hi i have just got an alaskan malamute, she is 6 months old but she will not go for a walk, im not sure if it is because she is not used to it, and also every load noise she jumps out of her skin. any advice would be appreciated thank you

She sounds like she may have stayed at the breeder a few months too long. What kind of exposure to the outside world did she have prior to coming to your house. Was she used to a leash at all? Try letting her drag it around (supervised), once she is used to it then try picking it up and baby steps so you don't have to carry her home!

Hopefully she will acclimate to your home over time.
