i need my dog to be my helper

i need my dog to be my helper dog i was in a nasty accdent five years a go i have flash backs and things i cant go out alone i have been out with my dog but as she is not my helper i am restricted on what i can do please help or point me in the right direction thank you for your time kirsty and dizzy

Well there are dog trainers that just do that type of training,and the best way to find them is call just about every trainer you can find in the phone book,and ask if they do that type of trainer,or if they know of a trainer that does

Also your vet may know of a dog school that does that as well

Any breed of any size(as well as mixes)can be trained to do this,from dogs as tiny as a yorkshire terrier to a dog as large as a saint bernard can be trained-but some dogs are not suited to that type of work,because they are too skittish or a number of other reasons

So if your current dog fails,you will probably have to get a second one-which is common for people to have a pet dog,as well as a working dog

But first see if the dog you have can be trained
