i have a terrier and i dont know exactly how old he is. i was told he was born in november when he was given to me on december the 26th. he lived in a house with 5 other dogs and were aloud to poop and pea all they want in one bedroom, and it not be cleaned up for weeks at a time. now he is living with me and i am try and trying to house train him but nothing seems to work, my dad says that if he isnt going to be house trained soon then i have to get rid of him. please i dont want to give up my dog, do you have any tips

you might read some of my past answers on this subject. You have to crate the dog so he cant go in your house. Then you need to take him out and when he goes outside praise him. You need to keep him in the crate until this problem is taken care of. the only way he can come out is if you can totally keep an eye on him. this should keep your dad happy and it should be taken care of within a month or so,good luck
