Dog may have come in contact with rabid racoon

Question
I discovered my beagle in the backyard barking at a very sick
looking racoon on the other side of the fence. The racoon
looked wounded, but not bloody, and I can't find any bites or
scratches on my dog, but it seems very possible that they came
into contact before the racoon got on the other side of the
fence. My dog's shots are up-to-date, and she shows no signs
of having been bitten, but she just started eating a lot of grass,
which she usually does in order to throw up.  Do I need to be
concerned?  If she had a minor wound that I couldn't find, or if
she bit the racoon, would her rabies booster keep her safe?

Answer
Thanks for your question.  Actually there is no need to be concerned if your beagle is updated on all her shots.  Grass eating is completely normal for dogs especially if they are stressed or bored.  Even if the racoon bit her she will be fine thats what the magic of those shots does.  It makes us happy with something like this does happen and then you realize that you paid those few extra dollars and now your dogs life is saved.  Thanks so much for your question and thank you for taking such good care of your dog.
