Cane Corso Puppy

I just got a 5 month old cane corso puppy today.  He is very lethargic.  He has
been sleeping since I took him home (from about 10 am and it is now 4 pm).  
He is not walking around the house to check out his new environment.  His
tail is between his legs and he looks scared to move.  He is hiding under
tables or behind the wall.  He did not go to the bathroom yet either.  I got
him from a breeders house where his parents lived too.  The house was
falling apart and in a very bad neighborhood.  I don't think he was around
many people and the breeder seemed to raise his voice alot.  I will be taking
him to the vet on Tuesday. How do I get hime to move around, eat, go to the
bathroom, walk on the leash or do anything other than sleep?  Please

Bottom line.  You bought a puppy from a breeder who you obviously didnt think much of.  I'm not surprised there is something wrong. I have never heard of a puppy act this way.  You screwed up big time.  The dog sounds traumatised and needs a vet and or behavioural council.

This is what happens when people know little of dogs.
