Dog not warming up to my hubby

Hello, last week my husband, child, and I moved into my father's house.  He has a 2 year old Boxer named Lexi.  She must have been abused by a male in her early years because she takes a while to warm up to men.  However, it has been a week and a half and Lexi has not warmed up to Kyle.  He has walked her and played with her outside each one time.  Now she will take treats/food from him, and when my father and his wife are not home, she will be alright around my husband. (no barking) But as soon as my father or his wife get home it is like we have to start all over.  My father says this is the longest it has taken for her to warm up to a man.  What can we do to get her to trust and like him???

She is behaving differently when your father and his wife are there, because they are her pack. Go to alpha dog boot camp on the web to learn to establish and maintain pack order. She is not the boss here :). When your husband walks her have him power walk her, for forty five minutes every day at heel. She is seeing him as subordinate
