shith tzu dogs

I just had my shith tzu puppy shaved for the first time. I was very surprised to see so many spots under all that hair{ like a dalmatian} I was also surprised to see how very bull legged he is.His feet are almost at a 90 degree straight sideways. Is all this normal.

All colors are acceptable under the shih tzu breed standard, but the front legs should be straight. This would be a very undesirable fault if the dog were to be shown. But since you had your puppy shaved down, my assumption is that you got him for a pet, and that is exactly what he is... a pet-quality dog. This physical fault will have nothing to do with his qualities as a loving pet.

Your groomer could have groomed his front a bit better though so that it looked a bit straighter.
