Dog kennels

Hi-

 I am looking into buying a yorkshire terrier and I was wondering if it is ok to get one from a kennel.
I know that you shouldn't get puppies from puppy mills or pet stores but I don't know if if you should get them from kennels or not.

Hi Susanne,
the best thing to do is always check with the better business bureau and with AKC.  Then go and look at the kennel to see how healthy and well kept the dogs are.  Ask to see mom and dad, if possible.    Once you see how well kept the animals are, you will be able to make your decision
