beagle and licking

I have two beagles that are constantly lick around the anal area. They could be playing, walking, or sleeping then all of a sudden get this need to lick around there. If I didn't stop them they could do it all day. I don't know what to do

This is some kind of irritation.
It is a symptom that something is wrong in that area.
It could be worms, or it could be a blocked anal gland.or allergies, all of which will get worse until you finally lose your dogs.
You need to take them to the doctor to see what it is, and get it taken care of.
I advise you to get them checked as soon as possible.
