Question
QUESTION: How do you get rid of dog fur permanently?  And how do you get rid of flea and tick permanently?  Thanks!

ANSWER: For fleas and ticks you need to treat your house and yard with any flea treatment that you can buy at most home improvement stores.  Then you need to keep your dog on a monthly flea treatment from the vet like advantage, frontline etc.  Now about the fur, I don't really understand what you mean by getting rid of the fur, do you mean how to decrease shedding?  Let me know.

QUESTION: Yeah, his fur keep falling off on my shirt and carpets.  If I treat the house with flea treatment, is it poisonous to people or anything.  In addition, this will get rid of flea and ticks permanently.

Answer
Nothing can get rid of fleas and ticks permanently, but if you keep your dog on a monthly treatment from the vet you won't need to worry about fleas.  When you treat our house you just need to follow the directions on the product which will tell you how to use it safely.  Now about the fur, regular bathing and brushing is something that will help a lot, I don't know what type of dog you have but there are low shed products on the market like the Furminator line and some grooming salons have a low shed treatment which cuts the shedding down by 80% for around 6 weeks with a deep conditioning and coat blow out.If you let me know what breed your dog is I can recommend a brush.  Thanks.
