facial hair

We have a 4 month old bichon poodle cross. She just got a haircut a few days ago, and the groomer cut her very shorts and took all her facial hair off. When will her facial hair grow back? Will she look the same the did before the haircut?

Yes the hair will grow back. Bichons and Poodles both do not have an undercoat, therefore it is ok to cut the hair, it will grow back! She should look the same as before, but depending on her coloring, that might change. Typically puppies will have a darker coat, and after the first haircut, the hair will come back a lighter color, but the hair WILL come back, so no worries there! So sorry to hear about what happened, make sure in the future, you have it very clear with your groomer as to what will be performed on your dog, that way no mistakes next time! Also, once you find a groomer you love, I recommend to request that groomer from now on, so they always do the great job you should expect!
