thank you .

Answer
Teena,
I recommend you take your dog to a veterinarian. When was her last check-up? You mention you are treating her red ear with Gentamicin and Dexamethasone, but it's not clear if the medication is left over from a previous ear infection, or if she was recently seen by your veterinarian. If the hair loss is around the ear only (it's not clear from your post) you should consult your veterinarian. If the hair loss is due to shedding, and not from a medical condition, I suggest you take her to a professional groomer so they can bathe her and use a "power" dryer to blow out the loose fur. There exists few products that can replace the efficiency of a power dryer for removing excess fur.

If you feel particularly energetic and patient and you would like to utilize products specifically for de-shedding your dog, I suggest using a shedding blade/rake: http://www.healthypets.com/mifovishbl.html

along with The Stuff:

http://www.petedge.com/product/Grooming/Grooming-Shampoos-Rinses/Conditioners-Cr...  for use as a coat conditioner and to guard against static during the de-shedding process.
Follow the de-shedding process with a bath and when dry, remove excess fur with the shedding rake.

Good luck!
