grooming a scottie

I have just aquired a 12 week old scottie pup due to a change in family circumstances and I know about what scotties look like when they are clipped as adults, but I was wondering at what age should they get their first clip? I groom her every day but she is still a scruffy little so and so and my vet doesn't really know much about the breed. Many thanks Leanne

start her right away- look into the Scottie Clubs for proper grooming.
The sooner you get her started the easier it will be to train her. Scotties are stubborn little fellas so the sooner the better.
Most groomers have a good idea of the pattern but it's wise to look it up for yourself so you know what to ask for
