dogs hair / coat stinks

Question
Hello, I have 2 dogs. Both are mixed and are about 50 lbs. One is a mixed black lab and the other is a mixed pit / terrier and ? We have a service that comes to our house to groom them. Bath, nails all that (only $110.00 for both dogs). They smell good for a month or so but then then start to stink. It's stronger when they come back from outside and especially so when it's cold outside. This was true even before the service began.

Thank you very much

Answer
I don't think there is anything wrong with your dogs. You just may need to give a mid grooming bath. Some dogs especially ones that are more active need to get a quick bath in between grooming. You can also use colognes or powders , but those are usually topical quick fixes.
There are also organic remedies that you can use. Such as
mint leaves. You can take a few leaves and break them up
in your hand and then rub it over the coat of your dogs. Again this is just a topical quick fix. Which is what most
remedies will be.
Or you can change your grooming schedule to every 4 weeks
instead of 6 to 8 which is the usual for the breed type you own.
Other than that there really isn't to much you can do. Each dog just like humans have their own natural scent.
And just like humans bathing is really the best way to control it. The more active a dog is outside the more he will need to bathe. Just remember not to over bathe, that will actually do more harm than good. Once every three to four weeks is plenty in between grooming.
 Good luck and Happy Halloween!!
