hand raising rott puppies

Me and my daughter are hand raising 8 rott puppies and what we are wanting to know is they are 7 days old and we are wanting to bath then but not sure if it is ok or how to clean then..

Dear Sharla,
  I am assuming that the mother of these pups is not there to care for them? If this is the case then I would suggest sponge bathing them with very warm but not hot water. If they are really dirty then you can use baby shampoo and nothing else. It doesn't matter if you use generic or Johnson & Johnson, they are basically all the same.
  If the mother is around then there is no need for you to
bathe them unless she isn't doing it. Generally the mother will bathe them throughout the day even though you may not see her. So unless you know for a fact she isn't cleaning them there is no need for you to bathe them.
  Once they reach 8 weeks old then you can start bathing them on a regular basis. I hope I have been of some assistance to you. Good luck and God Bless !
