Question
I take care of a chi and I'm wondering when I give him a bath how long does it take for the chi's fur to dry?

Answer
HI
I understand you want to bathe the Chihuahua, and wonder how long it will take for it to dry.
They don't' take long at all!  I towel dry them real well, and then if it is over 75 degrees, you can let them run around a bit, then towel them again, to stimulate the skin and keep them warm. A light touch with a blow dryer will keep them warm and evaporate the rest of the dampness in just a few seconds!
If it is a lower air temp than 75, just put them on a towel on your lap and gently dry with a blow dryer. The worst that can happen is the dog will get too hot, so be careful with people hair dryers.
At most, the dog should be completely dry in about 10 minutes, be sure to do under the arms and legs, and under the neck.
Have fun!
