What age is ok to groom a dog

I just got a 7 to 8 week old puppy. I got her from a place that had a ton of animals and she smells really bad. Can i take her to get groomed being so young?

first- you should not have been given a 7 week old puppy so I hope you are mistaken.
I would check out why the dog smells by looking in it's ears and making sure it is not an ear infection. Puppies should not smell if they are healthy and kept in a clean environment. In fact puppies usually smell wonderful when taken care of correctly.
So you may need to give the dog a bath but first have it checked out by a vet.

You can give the dog a bath at home if the vet ok's it but not at a salon until it has had all it's shots.
