I have a female Pit Bull and was curious if it is too late to get her ears clipped being she is over a year old. Thank you

Hi there.

I feel this is less a question for a groomer than it is for a vet. I don't typically perform ear clipping (just ear hair clipping).

Asking the vet I work with, 12 weeks is the absolute latest. Any later and the amount of surface area is prone to scarring, and the end result is just ugly. When they are puppies, they heal much more readily.

They really are quite beautiful with floppy ears so I hope this isn't too disconcerting for you!
