Trimming a Golden Retriever

Please advise on the best hair clippers for a golden retriever with a thick coat.  We would like to groom her ourselves, but our current clippers can not get through the coat.  Please suggest a make and model number.  We are desparate.  Thank you.

The best clipper are the Andis AGC 2 speed, they will last you and have the power to get through a thick coat.  They come with a 10 blade which is normaly used on the sanitary area but some people also use it for a very short smooth all over cut.  If you know how long you want to leave her hair let me know and I can suggest a blade size.
