the hair on my yorkies ears

My yorkie is one year old and used to have really long hair on the back of his ears. A groomer shaved them a i was really upset because it was soooo cute. his ears have no problem standing up. will the hair on his ears ever grow back?? please help i can't find an answer anywhere. Thanks.

The hair should grow back. It just might take a while. If the hair was really long, and then the groomer shaved it all gone, it will take a really long time to grow back. Unfortunately I can't even give you a timeline, because every dogs hair grows differently, and I don't know how long the hair was to begin with. Just give it some time, and it should grow back!
