Products that could stimulate hair growth

Question
I have a 7 yr old welsh cardigan corgi named Winston. I have problems with ticks at my house(Both have Lyme's) so I decided to shave both my dogs. Baxter a Carin Terrier and Winston.   Baxter turned out fine when I shaved him. Winston not so much. I was wondering If they make a product that would stimulate hair growth, not change his original coat texture, color, and is safe for him to use. Thanks

Unfortunately such a product does not exist. Corgis are a double-coated breed and if shaved, their fur is forever changed (ruined). You probably notice the fur growing back patchy and actually more dense and profuse. That is a result of shaving his fur. You can either live with how it's growing back or decide to keep him clipped henceforth. I just saw a Welsh Cardigan yesterday that was clipped down short except his tail, which was nicely trimmed and he was adorable!
