Question
I have a 11 week old puppy and I have been told that his eyes may change to a drastic different color, such as (from bright blue to dark brown) he is mixed, Mother is half pit half boxer and Father is full blood Siberian Husky. Just wondering if this is possible?

Answer
Yes it is - as the pup matures, pigmentation may set in the eye.  The change usually isn't really drastic, but in some dogs may be significant.  Generally, bright blue eyes will change over to something darker, or sometimes lighten up and become a light blue/milky white color.  This change usually happens sometime in the first 24 weeks or so; if it is going to happen at all.
