tiny Great dane

We just got a 6 1/2 week old male merle puppy.he was the runt of the litter.He seems very tiny.weighs only 5 pounds, but is happy and plays.Any suggestions on adding to his food?We are feeding a super premium adult food .

Answer
The recommended age for a pup to leave the litter is eight weeks!

He should still be on three meat meals with soaked dry food or biscuit and two milk meals every day.
