danes odour

Our male neutered dane will be 2 next month. Our family has just informed us that our house smells like him and he smells more than other dogs. We are honestly not dirty people- i'm actually a bit of a clean freak- so as you can imagine i am very upset. We do not smell it though- is it common for danes to smell more than other breeds? and it's not his breath- it's actually not bad at all- although apparently we wouldn't know !!!!

Answer
Danes don't usually smell worse that other breeds just more because they are bigger.  Open some windows, wash what he lies on and dry shampoo the area where he lies regularly.  When you have visitors use an air freshener before they arrive.

That should do it.  If they still complain get new friends and relations!
