Question
Help!!! How often and how much do you feed 7 pups.  Mom is loosing interest.  They are 4.5 weeks old I have been giving them ground up puppy food with goats milk.  Not sure how often to feed them.    They are always pooping.  Am i feeding them too much?  Please help ASAP.  Thanks

Answer
You should have got a book on rearing puppies, it's a bit late now.  They should have been weaned at 2 - 3 weeks, no wonder she is losing interest.

They should be on about 3 - 4 ounces of brisket of beef or lamb, finely minced; your butcher will do it for you.

They will want this about three times a day plus two meals of milk with egg or cereal.  The milk is powdered, we use lamb of calf milk replacer from the local farm shop.

and i will send you a diet sheet.  It starts at eight weeks bu just cut down the quantities.  Where do you live, i am in South Wales traveling to the Midlands tomorrow.  You can call me on 07747060742 during the day or 01495711580n after 17:00.
