testing for blind and deaf merle pups

We recently rescued a female Fawn w/white. After three weeks we found out she was 45 days pregnant (felt pup movement).  The previous owner had a Mantle stud (he will not return calls).She delivered 13 Merle pups on 12/13/09. Most have lots of white. Can you give me specific tests to do myself to see if they are blind or deaf. I didn't have a picture w/ all 13 & mom.

Right now the puppies cannot see or hear, their eyes are closed and so are their ears...wait a few weeks and I will give you instructions on how to test the puppies for deafness and blindness...
