As a dog owner and behavior specialist I feel that leash laws are very important. Some owners can barely control their dogs on a leash, I cannot imagine what type of chaos would ensue if there were no leash laws. I believe they are very important for maintaining order and a sense of responsibility. This also gives people who do not have animals the right to privacy and to not constantly have their neighbors pets invading their property.
