9 month old great dane

I have a 9month old male Dane...getting neutered in 9 days...he has suddenly become aggressive with people that come to our home.  He is normally very sweet and loving until this happens.  I am worried since I have kids that he will end up biting someone that comes in our house.  Please advise.

Castration may cure him but it is unlikely in my experience.  Watch him closely and if it continues he will have to be muzzled or put to sleep.  An agressive dane is a definite no no.

He may have something organically wrong which is incurable.
