Looking for a puppy

Question
Hi,

I emailed you a while ago(back in May - sorry can't find the original email, and have since lost it in changing email accounts.

I wrote to you back in May to tell you that I had rescued a GD and only had it for 4 days and had to have it put to sleep as it had some distemper like illness, anyway back then you mentioned if I was after a puppy then you may know of some breeders.

So now we feel ready for a puppy.

My husband and I prefer Blue's although I am rather partial
to Harlequins as well.

I have a 1 year old female boxer - who loves everything, my children, other dogs and other bitches, she has been spayed.

So I am looking for a good breeder (after the rescue experience I don't think we'll go down that road again).

We live in the South about 30 minutes from Guildford / 1 hour from London, on the M3 / M4 corridor.

Are there any local (say within 2 hour drive) breeders that you could recommend ?

Regards Tracey

Answer
My neighbour is waiting for a litter of harlequins.  He can be contacted on trevieajones@aol.com, his website is SAPECK Great Danes.  For blues I would go to Pam Price on 01162597351.

It is doubtful whether there are any available at present but the bitches are due to whelp any time from now until October.  You see they come into season in the Spring and Autumn so that they whelp in October and April.  Some come in early hence Trevors bitch being near.

If you need any more info get back to me.
