of Male or Female dane I must have ?

  about offspring will be ?

Thanks Sir, I need your answer to mu email, or some one who cares with Greatdane, We will very appreciate for this case,  cause we still rare In my country to have this dog!

Thanks a lot,
Trigon

ANSWER: Never use a merle for mating.

What is a piebald harlie?  Harlies are black and white or blue and white.  Anything else is a merle or a mis-mark.

Harlie to harlie can produce a high proportion of white, deaf dogs that can also be blind.  The harlies need black in their immediate background.

Mating harlie to a mantle is a good way of producing clear harlies.

QUESTION: Dear Sirs,

Sorry Piebald Dane / is the contrary color of mantle, all body is white, usualy two ears untill eyes is black, but this bitch of mine in the head and two ear is not black but merle color, I read it from Joshua GreatDane, it called Piebald merle.
But anyway thanks for the answer Sirs, one question again How is their offspring if I mate Harlequin (good color) male with allblack/Jetblack female, are they will have offspring same with the puppies coming from boston/mantle female with the same male ? or better ?

A lot of thanks from Us.

Answer
In otherwords she is a mismarked harlequin.  There is no colour piebald in any standard that i have read.

The number of harlequin puppies will depend on how many puppies there are, what colours are behind the parents and luck.

The genetics of colour breeding is complex and harlequins are the worst.
