Wobblers in the making??

I have recently lost a great dane at 17 months old to the dreaded wobblers.  He was my first great dane and I believe I have been incredibly unlucky.  I now have a young dane of 14 weeks, I am watching himlike a hawk as you can imagine, I have noticed that when he is relaxed with the other dogs he trembles, like when we catch the nerve in our knee he is like that all over. Am I worrying over nothing or is there a problem.

How do you mean you lost your boy with wobblers?  It can be treated and the animal live for years after, the one we had did and so have others.

If your new boy is from the same line then he may be susceptible.

What are the pedigrees of the two?
